I am dedicating day 1 to my Mom who died of Alzheimer’s 7 years ago and my Dad who died of a broken heart 8 years ago and whom I try to be like every day.
Special thanks to my dear friend Veronica Weymouth who gave me this bracelet with my parents own handwriting of their names inscribed on it!
I am so grateful and blessed!
Arrived in Chicago and picked up my bike. May my journey be safe, blessed and successful in raising donations for Alzheimer’s! Thank you to all who are following my Route 66 journey. Heading out Sunday.
